Der COMPDECist ein kompakter low cost Video Decoder für
Composite oder S-Video nach YPrPb oder RGsB.
Die Timings des Signals werden nicht geändert, es handelt sich
um einen Analog Digital Wandler ohne Scaler. Bildauflösung,
Format und Bildwiederholrate bleiben erhalten.
Mit dem Einganswahlschalter bestimmen Sie die Art der
Eingangssignals.
Ist der Composite Eingang ausgewählt leuchtet die LEDgrün
bei aktivem S-Video Eingang rot.
Flackert die LED dann wurde kein Eingangssignal erkannt, und
das Kabel ist eventuell defekt.
Das Gerät unterstützt alle Video Systeme wie PAL/NTSC oder
SECAM.
Mit dem kleinen Schiebeschalter an der Seite können Sie
zwischen RGsB oder YPrPb auswählen.
Die RGsB Betriebsart wird meist nur von professionellen
Displays unterstützt und darf nicht mit RGBs verwechselt
werden.

Functional description
The COMPDEC is a small low cost video decoder for composite
or S-Video signals. The device performs an analog to digital
conversion preserving input resolution, aspect ratio and vertical
refresh rate.The Videotimings remain untouched.
The unit is compatible with all world wide video standards, like
PAL/NTSC or SECAM.
The top button selects betweencomposite or S-Video Input,
green led for composite and red for S-Video.
A flashing LED indicates no signal recognized, so your cable
might be broken, or no signal is available.
The output may be switched between YPrPb or RGsB using the
small slider on the side of the unit.
RGsB however may only be used with professional displays as
this is no consumerstandard.
Be sure to check the manual of your display if you want to use
RGsB.
